My Favorite Breed of Horses

My favorite breed of horses is the Arabian. They are very graceful, have a lot of stamina and endurance. When I'm older I want to have an all black Arabian stallion. They are most graceful when they run because they hold their head up and their tail out. My aunt has an all black Arabian stallion and his name is Prince. I want one that looks just like him, but I don't want him to have a white star on his forehead like Prince. I hope I will be able to get one when I'm older. I will name him either Prince or Chief. If I get a mare I will name her Rain or something else.

Cupid Hits the Wrong Person

When cupid tried to hit someone with one of his arrows he missed and shot someone else. I think this story shows that cupid can't be the one to make people fall in love. It doesn't just magically happen. I also think that someone was with the wrong person and cupid accidentally missed, but the person he hit by accident was really someone that someone esle should be with. The other person was the wrong person. Either way cupid isn't the one that can make you fall in love or make someone fall in love with you. It all depends on you.

My Musician Project

My musician project is about Jonny Cash. I picked Johnny Cash because I know he writes and sings country music and I like country music. Also my grandpa use to listen to him. Country is my favorite type of music, so I thought it would be good to do my project about him. Also he was mentioned in some movies I've watched, so when I saw the name it was familiar to me. I wanted to find outmore about him. All I knew about him was that he sang country music. I wanted to know more. Now I know he is an author song writer, singer, and actor.

Dance

The picture of the tape measure reminds me of dance because we have to get measured, so we know what size costume to get. Then I start thimkimg of the amazing costume we're getting and how good it will look for recital. Then I go on to think about the recital and how much work we have put into it. Then I think of how proud my mom and dad are of me. The picture makes me have many thoughts about dance and the past eight years of dance. Simple things like a tape measure bring back great memories and thoughts. Not only do I think about past costumes, but I also think of what costumes are next.

Bottled Up Memory

If I could haave a bottle filled with one of my memories I would have the memory of me riding my aunt's horse, Prince. It was last summer when I went to my aunt's house. I spent the night at her house and I went out in the pasture to play with Prince, an all black arabian horse, and the miniature horses. My aunt walked up to me and asked if I was having fun and I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted to ride him and I said yes. I was very excited. She brought out the saddle and bridle and set it on my cousins play set. Then she handed me his halter and lead rope and told me to go get him. I quickly went out in the pasture and got him.

My Weekend

This weekend I'm going to my uncles farm in Arcadia. We're going down to check the camera, food plots and shoot guns. We're stayin down there all weekend. I love going down there, staying up late and sitting around the campfire eating a delicious meal cooked on the grill. We also get to ride the four wheelers while we're down there. I can't wait I'm so excited. We might even get to see the bobcat and coyotes. I can't wait for hunting season to come because we have two moster bucks.

Labor Day

Labor Day came about because of the labor movement and economic achievements of American workers. Many people bekieve that Peter J. Mcguire, secretary of Brotherhood of Carpenters, founded the holiday, but others believe it was a manchinist, Matthew Maguire. The Central Labor Union held the first Labor Day on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City. Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York then celebrated the holiday followed by Conneticut, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania. By 1894 23 other states started celebrating the holiday in honor of workers. As the years go on more and more emphisas is put into the holiday with speeches and parades.
